Ralph's Puppy Food Recipe
(and a note from Bella's owners.)

       
​         This is my Preferred Puppy Food.
          "Purina Puppy Chow with Mother's Milk"
I mix it with a little karo syrup and whole milk to soften the kibbles. This mixture has worked well for all of my puppies up to the point of sale.
The only place I have found it is at WalMart.

From Bella's owners:
We have started mixing it with water and leaving the Karo Syrup and milk out of the mixture when Bella was 8 weeks old and she does good with it mixed like this. You have to be sure the kibbles are all well softened so the pups won't choke on it! Chewing is still hard at this age.

Our Vet said the mixture is good for now but recommends "HILL"S SCIENCE DIET" - "puppy small bites" and that we should slowly mix the two together as she gets older weening her off of the "Puppy Chow". The dry solid kibbles will help keep her teeth clean as she gets older.
